Tevyn Walcott made his First-Class debut in January 2018. He was playing for Barbados against the Windward Islands and kept wicket. Walcott batted at eight and came in with the score at 161-6. Barbados got in some early trouble, with openers Anthony Alleyne and Sheyne Moseley being dismissed cheaply. They were at 31-5, but a good partnership between Justin Greaves and Roston Chase rescued their side. Tevyn Walcott then hit a great 49 and injected some fight into the Barbados lower order. These were vital runs and it took Barbados to a good score of 316. The Windward Islands managed 287 in reply, with Kavem Hodge’s 63 being the top score. There was not much sign of spin with both Jomel Warrican and Hayden Walsh going wicketless. Walcott was then not needed to bat again, as Barbados found themselves at 135/1 when they ran out of time.
